How it works

Three moves. One board.

Take land

Every plot is 100 pixels of real geography. Virgin land is $1. Shift-drag a block, upload your logo and it tiles across the whole thing — plus a written listing in the directory and a slot in the ticker up top.

02

Fly a flag

Pick the country you play for. Every pixel you hold scores for it — and you can plant it anywhere on Earth. Buying land inside someone else's borders is an occupation, and it shows up on their standings in red.

03

Hold it. Or lose it.

Anyone can take your plot for 1.5× what you paid, and the price ratchets up every time it changes hands. Hold the good land long enough and taking it off you gets expensive. The map never finishes.

The rules

Short enough to read them all.

  • $1.00Opening price for any unclaimed plot. 100 pixels, one cent each.
  • ×1.5What it costs to take a plot off whoever holds it, rounded up to the nearest 5¢.
  • 100%Of what you pay buys land. Nothing is refunded when you lose it — that is the risk.
  • 400Maximum plots in a single claim, so nobody buys a continent before lunch.
  • 10,247Plots of land in existence, and that is the whole supply. The ocean is not for sale and nobody is making more coastline.
  • ↑The only direction a plot has ever moved. No plot has changed hands for less than its last owner paid — every raid sets a new floor, permanently.
